Innovas has just been appointed by Bangor University to undertake a review of incubation provision and support services on behalf of Menai Science Park Ltd (MSP) in North West Wales.
Menai Science Park Ltd (MSP Ltd) is currently developing ambitious plans to establish a Science Park in Gaerwen, some 6 miles from Bangor. Menai Science Park Ltd, is a wholly owned subsidiary of Bangor University, which aims to develop a Science Park to drive growth in knowledge based science in North West Wales, with an early focus on sustainable energy and technology. The Park will align with the Welsh Government’s Innovation Strategy, as well as contributing to the growth of region’s economy.

The three local authorities in the region, Ynys Mon, Gwynedd and Conwy will also be key partners in the Park’s development. MSP will also develop links with the other local authorities in North Wales as well as the two Further Education colleges in the area (Grwp Llandrillo and Coleg Cambria).
MSP will build on the University’s excellent research reputation in a number of areas within the Colleges of Natural Sciences, Physical and Applied Sciences and Health and Behavioural Sciences.
The review includes exploring the opportunity to link together wider incubation and grow-on accommodation, and plug in key relevant business support.
